Daily Fresh From God
Topic: My heart and my flesh (Sunday special)
Psalm 84:1-2 How lovely [b]is Your tabernacle,
O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
The house of God should be our daily longing, we should always desire it.
Jesus was eaten up completely by the zeal of His father's house.
"John 2:17 - Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house [c]has eaten Me up.”"
The same way we should be concerned about our father's house, from time to time. We should lay our treasures in God's presence and let His presence be our constant desire.
The Psalmist described his longing, " my soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord"
Both his heart and flesh cries out for the living God.
May our totality constantly desire the living God.
Prayer: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, let my heart and my flesh cry out for you daily without ceasing.
Remain blessed
"May I be overwhelmed by your presence, Lord" (Omoloye A A)
