Topic: Common or unclean I (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 10:27-29
27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found many who had come together. 28 Then he said to them, “You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29
Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
The testimony, I hope this will encourage someone.
The Apostle didn't resist the voice of God, we shouldn't resist God's words as well.
The word of God is still powerful, and God is still in the business of saving souls. I was miles away from my family in Christ, away from the well desired company, but like Philip I was wondering what God wants me to do, I didn't find a church to join but God did wonders, as the Hotel I lodged with my friend became a platform for us to cause the heavens to rejoice.
We met some young good looking ladies they approached us just on the street of the hotel assisted us in locating where to buy some stuffs we needed. Afterwards they desired to follow us into our rooms, that was strange to me anyway but my friend told me what they wanted from us(they were prostitutes), and that we have to minister to them, "And our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace"
"Ephesians 6:15 KJV
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"
Just by the reception we sat them down and the Lord gave His word, the prostitute began to shed tears and said please I need this Jesus, I want to accept Him into my life. I was amazed myself, it was too soon I still had more to say, salvation does not come by the complexity of our preaching, "Rhema" preach the Gospel simple full and free, it's the power of God unto salvation!
We could have fled from these prostitutes without remembering to drop the gospel, because they were unclean and we don't want to be defiled. Let's move always with the complete armour of God.
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, help me to move constantly with the complete armour of God, lacking nothing spiritually.
Remain blessed
