Topic: Understanding the scriptures II (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 8:29-30KJV
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. [30] And Philip ran thither to him , and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
"Understandest thou what thou readest?"
That's a important question that should always ring in our hearts as we study the scriptures.
Many manmade theology has kept the Holy Spirit off the scene in interpretation of the scriptures.
Many people believe that when their answers are logical, they already got the right understanding of the scriptures.

The scriptures must not agree with what you think, rather your thoughts must conform to what the scripture teaches.
Some way not to study the bible:
Do not use the bible to justify what you feel is right, use the bible to know what is actually right.
Many people have concluded on many things they only need the bible to approve their own thoughts.

Do not seek the understanding of the scriptures outside the scriptures(Holy Spirit)
"2 Peter 1:20 KJV
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."

The bible confirms and explain itself.
"2 Timothy 3:16 KJV
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Understandest thou what thou readest?
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, I unlearn every human logics to your word, I embrace the spiritual understanding, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
