Topic: Regarding the rich (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 8:20-23 KJV
But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
We can see the action of the Apostle to the request of Simon the sorcerer. He never showed special regard for the rich person, unlike many modernist preachers would do.
Does the Apostle not need money?
"Romans 15:25-27 KJV
But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. [26] For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. [27] It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things."

There were saints in need, so the Apostle would have just done Simon's demand, but will never make merchandise of the power of God.
"2 Peter 2:3 KJV
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."
God used Apostle Peter to condemn "ministers" making merchandise of the things of God.

We are not to turn the gift of God into a money-making avenue.
A lot of strange children, sitting as ministers of God, will get paid to see people in need of prayer and counseling.
May the Lord help everyone of us to overcome strange love for money in Jesus' name, and be able to stand firm like the Apostle did.
There was no special regards for the rich or money in the Apostolic ministration.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, make me steadfast, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
Remain blessed
