Herald of maranatha:Daily Devotional
Topic: Forsake not the assembling (Sunday Special)
Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Love is the foundation of Christianity, it was love that initiated God's relationship with man.
The text urges us to be be considerate to provoke love and good works in the midst of the brethren.
The way the text instructs that this may be achieved is by giving reverence to the assembling of ourselves together, to fellowship in unity. The text also made it clear that the manner of some people is divisive, don't be like them, be united in fellowship and exhortation, as we look forward to the day of our Lord Jesus.
