Topic: Citywide Crusade (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 8:7-8 KJV
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them : and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. [8] And there was great joy in that city.
There was a citywide crusade in Samaria as Philip went through the streets proclaiming JESUS.
From our text, we can see how Philip brought down the kingdom of God to Samaria. Unclean spirits were cast out of people possessed with them and the sick were healed.
"Luke 11:20 KJV
But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you."
But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you."
Philip, expelled the kingdom of darkness and brought down the presence of God to Samaria.
"And there was great joy in that city"
"And there was great joy in that city"
The genuine presence of God can be known by that great unspeakable joy of liberty.
"Psalm 16:11 KJV
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
"Psalm 16:11 KJV
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
He showed them the path of life, his feet was really beautiful as he bore the gospel of peace. He was used alone for the entire citywide crusade, no gadgets but the gospel and the power of the Holy Ghost.
What do we bring or add to the community we are found?
Be another Philip, the message of the gospel is urgent.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, make me a bearer of the gospel of peace, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
Remain blessed
