Topic: A believer's sin (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 8:21-23 KJV
Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. [22] Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. [23] For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
Someone once made a statement to make sin lighter than it is, he said, "the only sin that can lead a man to hell is unbelief".
This is not true, biblically. From the text, the man being addressed here was a believer and have been baptized.
"Acts 8:13 KJV
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done."
Believing in Jesus and being saved is a beginning of a lifetime journey, it's not the end of it.
If a baptized believer can be told he has "no part nor lot in the matter", of the Holy Ghost. Then it's more than just believing.
How can we be a partaker of the divine nature?
"2 Peter 1:4-9 KJV
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [5] And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins."

After salvation, let's make sure we climb this ladder, otherwise even our old sins are not purged.
Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, take me deeper in you, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
Remain blessed
