Herald of maranatha: Daily Fresh from God
Topic: Preaching under persecution (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 8:1 KJV
And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
Saul the man taking the baton from Stephen, consented to his death and also joined in persecuting the church.
In the midst of great persecution, the Apostles did not run away, they remembered the words of Jesus to them
"Acts 1:4 KJV
And, being assembled together with them , commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he , ye have heard of me."
"Acts 1:4 KJV

Being scattered by persecution might mean, several families are separated, without knowing who has been killed or yet alive.
The Christians that scattered abroad by persecution didn't go into hiding, but they bore the gospel and gave it everywhere they went, mindless of their predicaments.
"Acts 8:4 KJV
Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word."

How do we respond to persecution these days?
Even in comfort many of us see preaching the gospel as a big stress or burden.
Let's not wait for persecution before we do the right thing.
May the Lord give renew a right in us, to see the gospel as an obligation.
"1 Corinthians 9:16 KJV
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!"

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, make me a bearer of the gospel, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
Remain blessed
