Topic: Passing the baton (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 7:58-60 KJV
And cast him out of the city, and stoned him : and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. [59] And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God , and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. [60] And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
There is a redeemer
Jesus, God's own Son
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah
Holy One
Jesus my redeemer
Name above all names
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah
Oh, for sinners slain
Thank you, oh my father
For giving us Your Son
And leaving Your Spirit
'Til the work on Earth is done (by Keith Green).

God's army never lacks valiant soldiers, when one is taken away God raises a more valiant soldier.
Why then does it look as if Revival looses tenacity with time?
We live in these days and constantly refer to the revivals of the past.
Ummmn .... (sigh)
"1 Kings 19:18 KJV
Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him."

"1 Kings 19:18 KJV

How many of these seven thousand eventually manifested the glory God invested in them?
We heard of only three out of seven thousand men, with Elijah's capacity.
"Hazael, Jehu and Elisha"
"1 Kings 19:17 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay."

The problem is our dedication to God to stair up the grace He has released unto us.
If this man from our text, who consented to Stephen's death, though innocently doing evil believing he was serving God, could manage to receive the baton from the one he was killing, then, God has given us much more in our time.
Paul was the one God grabbed at the site where Stephen was murdered and he delivered his massages as great as Stephen's was.
Let's be determined today for God to use us to carry out His will. He is raising His Armies daily with power.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, help me to be determined, raise me as a valiant soldier, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
Remain blessed
