Acts 7:1-3 KJV
Then said the high priest, Are these things so? [2] And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, [3] And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
Stephen probably witnessed the death of Jesus or definitely he knew how it all happened. Now like Jesus was falsely accused, Stephen has been falsely accused too, he has to defend himself.
Have we noticed that it was just the same accusations given to Christ that was given to Stephen? Same satan.

Stephen:
"Acts 6:14 KJV
For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us."

Jesus:
"Matthew 26:59-61 KJV
Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; [60] But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, [61] And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days."

These specialists in false witnessing, have gotten Stephen to face the council. They knew it wasn't so because they knew the truth, but they asked, if it was so.
Stephen a soldier who wasn't afraid of death, stood before them and began one of the most well arranged sermon recorded in the scripture.
An army of fearless Christians, he saw his death but he chose to deliver this last message before the council of murderers.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, help me to be faithful to you till the end, equip and fortify me for the forth coming revival.
Remain blessed
