Topic: Apostolic package (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 5:17-18 KJV
Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, [18] And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.
The Apostles just healed a lot of sick people by the name of Jesus and they were cast into the prison.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one."

These are the kind of persecution that arises due to the rising of a true revival.
Sometimes we are quickly discouraged when we face a little challenge in our life's endeavour. If God commissions you and enhances you it doesn't mean people will not arise against you. In fact that's one of the evidences that you're on God's cause, when Satan incites his children against you. Afflictions is always a sensitive part of the Apostolic package,
"Acts 20:23 KJV
Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me."
Sometimes we are quickly discouraged when we face a little challenge in our life's endeavour. If God commissions you and enhances you it doesn't mean people will not arise against you. In fact that's one of the evidences that you're on God's cause, when Satan incites his children against you. Afflictions is always a sensitive part of the Apostolic package,

One sure thing is this, though you will be afflicted on the mission but you will not be destroyed by the affliction.

The Apostles glories in afflictions and tribulations;

And not only so , but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;"

Apostles desired the totality of Jesus, both His glorious manifestation and His sufferings.
"Philippians 3:10 KJV
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;"

Nowadays though we pray for the Apostolic manifestation, but we just want stop at the first part
"the power of His resurrection"
we don't want to fellowship with His sufferings nor His death. This is a seal of the Apostolic package. The Apostles are called and sent out by Jesus to carry out His mandate on earth. Apostolic office is not for luxury or pleasure, it's a life of service till death.
Be prepared for this mandate, God still calls and commissions men now, He's still the same.

"the power of His resurrection"
