And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. [13] And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. [14] And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

From our text for today, we can see how God did many signs and wonders by the hands of the Apostles.  This is obviously very interesting, because every believer wants to operate in this realm, but the secret is not far-fetched.
Firstly they had a constant presence God.
The same thing Moses desired.
"Exodus 33:15 KJV
How can we tell?
The text says "they were with one accord in Solomon's porch"
That was a sign that they retained God's presence, because they were united.
"Matthew 18:19-20 KJV
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. [20]
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Second secret is that the Apostles never lost focus on the main task Jesus gave them, "soul winning". If they had lost focus on their assignment God may never back them up again.

"believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women."

These two secrets are the reason many ministers and churches are void of the presence of God and that's why we're not experiencing the manifestation of God's power as of old.

"Disunity(impurity in heart) and loss of focus" are the two major hindrances to manifestation.

Many churches gather in the body but are disunited in the spirit. As a Christian if you nurse grudges in your heart against your brother, you're not fit for what God wants to do.

Pressure to satisfy people has made many ministers to loose focus on their primary assignments.
All these hinders manifestation of God's power. We need to be always ready at all time for God's use, purge yourselves from every evil heart and obstructions, such as dispute and disunity.

"2 Timothy 2:21-22 KJV
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. [22] Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

God does wonders as the days of Old, we are not just serving God like the people of old.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, give us a pure heart and help to overcome disunity in the church, equip and fortify us, for the mighty revival.
