Topic: Source of power (Apostolic Revival)
Acts 4:7-10 KJV
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? [8] Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, [9] If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; [10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
The entire religion councils summoned the Apostles to a meeting and questioned the authority by which they were operating.
There are two sides to this:
It's wrong to follow after a manifestation when you do not know what powered it, Jesus didn't send us to follow after manifestations anyway.
The other side is;
Having known the source of this great miracle was the name of Jesus Christ, we would have thought that the religion leaders would consider their ways, and give the Apostles necessary support, but they rather persecuted them more.

"Acts 4:16-18 KJV
Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it . [17] But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. [18] And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus."

Some people who should have propelled the revival will persecute and try to stop the revival, but we need to know our source and hold on to it "JESUS CHRIST"
"Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

The name of Jesus is potent and powerful. Many preachers speaks less about Jesus after seeing a notable miracle in their ministry, no wonder they won't last. If you cut off from your source you will dry up.
There's nothing to glory in, than the death, burial and the resurrection of Christ.
Tribulation that persecution brings becomes a glory for the Apostles who were willing to take part in Christ's suffering.
"Romans 5:3 KJV
And not only so , but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;"
The Apostles made this resolution in their hearts,
"Philippians 3:10 KJV
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;"
What's your resolution?
Mine is to hold on to the name of Jesus, never to shake in the face of persecution that arises by the incidence of revival.

Prayers: Oh Lord Jesus, I hold on to your name as the source of true revival, equip and fortify me, for the mighty revival.
Remain blessed
