Herald of maranatha:Daily devotional
Topic: Apostolic revival (unity)
Acts 2:1 KJV
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
A personal revival must precede the national revival' Jesus made this very clear to them, when He told them to tarry..
"Luke 24:49 KJV
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."
Jesus gave them the guidelines to personal revival. They have to be united in God's will. Jesus spent an entire chapter praying for this.
"John 17:21 KJV
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."
We can see that, in total submission to God they obeyed and were united.
Disunity has always been a tool in the hand of the Devil, for stopping revival.
The devil is really prevailing in that area in this present dispensation by raising several rebellious Sects to oppose the standing truth of the gospel. By their fruits you shall know them, they disregard dignitaries and they are quick to raise arguements on trivial matters. Their protest enhances more sin than godliness. Like i said rebellion, protest or whatever they call revolution is not revival. A revival doesn't build rebels, it doesn't bring confusion or enhance sin. It rather brings people down on their knees in genuine repentance. These strange moves around is a total distraction to revival.
The tyranny of sin must be broken and true children of God must unite for the forthcoming Revival.
Prayers: Oh Lord break the tyranny of sin, silence every distraction and unite your children for the mighty revival.
Remain blesses
"Arise in unity, true children of God, break the tyranny of sin, and the Lord Jesus will reign supremely"
