Topic: Deception through communication
1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Deception is very deadly. Jesus and His disciples warned against it several times.
"Matthew 24:4 KJV
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."
Deception misleads and confuses it's victims. Unfortunately deception comes by communication.
"Ephesians 5:6 KJV
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience."
Deception comes when wrong information is given but presented as the truth. Deception is not a complete lie, but a lie coated with partial truth.
Jesus said, "Matthew 24:5 KJV
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
Here, Jesus made us understand the concept of deception, "saying I am Christ" that's the truth Jesus is indeed Christ. Unfortunately they will deceive many, because they've been accepted due to their declaration of Jesus as Christ.
No wonder Jesus said
"Matthew 7:21 KJV
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
Deception is a terrible tool Satan uses in these last days. Hope are not living under the influence of deception?
The kind of communication that brings deception is evil. So if you give heed to evil communication you will be deceived, hence, your good manners will be polluted. Escape route from deception is embracing the word of God.
Prayer: Father Lord preserve me from every deception in Jesus' name.
Remain blessed
"God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ’I love you.’" (celebrating one of God's Generals, Billy Graham)
