Herald of maranatha: Daily devotional
Topic: my quality
Psalm 139:13-14 KJV
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. [14] I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
The question of personal quality is a big problem for many people. You were created by God and for His will. Sometimes when faced with little challenges we tend to forget who we really are.
Who are you?
Take little moment to ponder on that question, answer it genuinely, then reflect on your answer.
Are you really who you claim to be?
From our text we can see that there's hope for every human, by the reason of what God invested in creating man.
Frustration might have made you to loose the glimpse of your personal qualities but it cannot change what God has kept inside of you.
"God covered you from your mother's womb" that wasn't for no reason. The text further says
"I am fearfully and wonderfully made" I think you can now see beyond your usual imagination, God took serious caution when creating you.
"Psalm 18:30 KJV
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him."
If God's ways are perfect then, there was no error in your making, so do not assume one.
Do not wish you were born by different parents.
Do not wish you were born in a different country.
Do not wish you were born as another gender.
The perfect God has made you perfectly, located you perfectly and situated you perfectly.
Say this to yourself everyday "there's no error in my making"
"Isaiah 1:19 KJV
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:Only surrender to your maker then shall you eat the good of the land."
Prayer: Father Lord I believe in your perfect work in me, I surrender to your will in Jesus' name.
Happy new month.
