Topic: Integrity
Proverbs 19:22 KJV
The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.
It's a virtue that makes one reliable and dependable.
Unfortunately many have lost this virtue completely. The scripture says "Proverbs 20:6 KJV
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?"
Even brethren fail each other for lack of integrity. Trust no longer exist among the brethren for the fear of the unknown. Integrity is a requisite to entering heaven.
"Psalm 24:3-4 KJV
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord ? or who shall stand in his holy place? [4] He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully."
Integrity demands that a man is found faithful to His words and also the word of God, even when you feel it might hurt YOU at the long run.
"Psalm 15:1-2,4 KJV
Lord , who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? [2] He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. [4] In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord . He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not."
"He swears to his own hurt and changeth not"
That's integrity. Integrity makes our lives reflect Jesus more to the world.
Remember, "it's better to be poor than to be a liar"
Prayers: Oh Lord help me to live in integrity before God and men in Jesus' name.
