Topic: Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:8-10 KJV
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. [9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. [10] But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
Jesus in His teachings outlined a litmus test of spiritual genuineness, He called it fruit.
"Matthew 7:18 KJV
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."
You can doubt what kind of tree you're seeing by their leaves, but when the fruit is juiced, it will tell what kind it is.
In like manner anyone can prophesy, speak in tongues, give words of knowledge but their true identity before God can be known when circumstances juices them.
When you see a "tongue-blowing" believer exhibiting anger, wrath, speaking guile, lies and using abusive words, it is because they are not genuine and that's what the spirit in them can produce.
That's how to discern genuine children, they look like their fathers, they show love in all they do, "love never fails"
Prayer: Oh Lord help me to love sincerely from my heart and make me fruitful in Jesus name.
