Topic: Unmovable
1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
The Apostle through the Holy Spirit encouraged the church in Corinth to be stedfast and unmovable and to always abound in the work of the Lord, these are the necessary things to keep us moving in Christ.
Steadfastness means to be consistent in following Christ, with a focus not as uncertain.
To be unmoveable, means not to be carried about by every wind of doctrine or not to be confused. "Ephesians 4:14 KJV
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;"
"It takes being unmoveable to keep moving with Christ" not being distracted by the schemes of Satan. Apostle Paul said "Acts 20:24 KJV
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."
Finally after keeping yourself focused and away from distractions, get your busy with the work of God. This is where many have failed, not engaging in the work of God. A vessel in constant use undergoes constant cleaning, our lives can be preserved by our engagement in the work of the Lord.
