Topic: Forgiveness of sins.
Ephesians 1:7-8 KJV
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; [8] Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Forgiveness is something people have so much despised in this present world. It has been considered as the cheapest thing to get especially from the God you can't see. If you want to really understand forgiveness, go to the garden of eden and the cross at Calvary. Then you will understand the gravity of sin and the cost of forgiveness (redemption).
Forgiveness, though free is not cheap. Our text made us know that it actually cost the blood of Jesus on the cross.
"Hebrews 9:22 KJV
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."
So knowing this, we should rather live constantly in the fear of God, than in the hope of constant availability of forgiveness. Decide for God today and choose to stand out.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to always reflect on your sacrifice for my redemption, and cherish it.
Remain blessed
