HOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Changing the battle ground.

Herald of maranatha:
Daily devotional
Topic: Changing the battle ground.
Isaiah 40:31 KJV
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
I was told a secret, how eagles conquer their preys, especially serpents. The serpent's strength lies in it's body contact with the earth, tree or any other platform to gain directions for attack. When the eagle picks up the serpent, it takes it into the sky away from any contact and there it finishes the serpent like any other weak animal. Serpent's battle zone is the earth, the eagle's battle zone is the sky.
As we wait upon the Lord, the scripture says we shall mount up with wings as eagles. We can understand this text by checking out the attributes of the eagle, how it fight it's battle.
Eagles are  always seen far on high "Ephesians 2:6 KJV
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"
So like eagles, we fight our battles in the heavenly places. "Ephesians 6:12 KJV
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places ."
Our adversary the devil is called the old serpent "Revelation 12:9 KJV
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
As Christians let's change battle ground, take it to the heavenly from where satan fell, then he will fall again and our victory shall be established.
The battles you struggled with this year, you will definitely overcome in Christ now.
God promised to be your strength "Isaiah 28:5-6 KJV
In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, [6] And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate." Shake off weakness turn the battle to the gate and change the ground to the heavenly, blast it off with the power of prayers and you will celebrate victory in Jesus.

Prayer: Lord I receive the power to change the battle zones, and to claim the victory Jesus won for me from on the heavenly.

Remain blessed
