Topic: Weak generation
Luke 18:1 KJV
And he spake a parable unto them to this end , that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
If everything automatically falls in place for christians as they accepts Christ, without a need for praying, Jesus wouldn't have encouraged and taught us how to pray.
Jesus prayed Himself, like He couldn't survive without it. "Mark 1:35 KJV
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." If anyone could have survived without needing to pray fervently, the person is Jesus, but He prayed even more fervently, like no one else. "Luke 22:44 KJV
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground."
We are in a talkative and prayerless generation. No wonder genuine signs and wonders that proves the power of Christ beyond doubt are no more seen in the midst of christians. This generation is full of lazy christians, who can not afford to pray for 1 hour "Matthew 26:40 KJV
And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?"
Praying is not interesting when you begin, but PUSH and you'll overcome.
Remember "If you can travail in the place of prayer you will prevail in life"
Two key starting point for meaningful and well established prayer foundation.
* Hallow the name of God.(cleanse yourself and reverence God)
* Bring down God's kingdom.(take charge of your vicinity by rebuking every power of darkness)
"Luke 11:20 KJV
But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you."
These two are the foundation in the prayer of our Lord Jesus "
"Luke 11:2 KJV
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth."

We need receive the strength and grace to pray. "Zech 12:10a. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications:"
Prayer: Lord Jesus, pour upon me the Spirit of grace and supplication, strengthen me in the place of prayer.
Remain blessed
