2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Enumerating the signs, characters and behaviours, attributed to the end time, we see a lot already in play among believers.
The next is "Blasphemy" - act of speaking profanity concerning God and the things of God is common around us now. A lot of empty speakers with no regard for God's personality, and about the kingdom of God.
"Disobedience to Parents - we are in the generation that doesn't regard parents.(Proverbs 30:11 KJV
There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.)
"Unthankful" - people no longer appreciate God for His free gift, humanity is on a quest to satisfy an urge that can't be satisfied. The black people bleach to be like the white, and the white tans to be darker.
"Unholy" - holiness is no longer celebrated, public speakers in the name of pastors have said it's impossible to be holy, that even immorality can't hinder one from getting to heaven. These are the clear sign that we are in the end times.
"Without natural affection" - greed has taken over the lives of people now, many don't care who gets hurt as long as they get some money. No more sympathy on the poor and needy.
"Trucebreakers" - people no longer have regards for truce, they break engagements, even marital vows, this is common all around us.
"False accusers" - this is also rampant people bearing false witness even against men of God, probably for the sake of money or self justification. Not only with men of God, do you still bear false witness in your offices, schools or do you tell lies?

This is the time for self-check, let's do this while we prepare for "the Lord is at hand"
2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, as this new week begins, help me to always put myself under proper check by the Holy Spirit.
