Topic: Knowing His will
Colossians 1:9 KJV
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it , do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
I asked someone a question, I said what brought sin into existence?
He said the law.
I made him know that law never brought sin "Romans 7:9 KJV
For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died." Sin actually came by knowledge. Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and sin began. Sin came by knowledge, if you do not know evil you can't sin. In like manner knowledge is what God has set up to liberate from the bondage of sin. "John 8:32 KJV
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Acknowledging the truth is enough to make us free completely. Knowledge of God and His will opens us up to maximum fulfillment in life. "2 Peter 1:3 KJV
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:"
How do we know His will?
It's only by constant meditation on His word. His word is His written will. To please God is to know His will. "Philippians 3:10 KJV
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" knowing God is a priority for every believer. It's God's delight that we know His will, He even made it known to us. "Ephesians 1:9 KJV
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:"

Remain blessed
