Topic: Half-filled
Psalm 100:4-5 KJV
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
My Dad made an illustration sometime ago, about a cup of water not completely filled. He said " there are two different ways this cup can be described, some will call it half-emptied cup and another will call it half-filled cup". What makes the difference is the heart of gratitude. The first person could see what he doesn't have, while the second could see what he has.
How often do we dedicate time to thank God for His goodness?
Or, how often do we praise God?
Thanks is something we do to appreciate what we've received, we always receive God's goodness on daily basis. Hence "Psalm 92:1 KJV
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:"
Let's always see what God has done for us and thank Him always.
Praise is what we do even if it seems we haven't received anything. Praises brings more of God's goodness, engage yourself in praising God today and see the result in every area of your life.
"Happy thanksgiving day" someone will say "oh, it was yesterday" I am saying "it is everyday".
Praise God even if you feel it makes no sense.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me a heart of gratitude and help me to see more of your goodness towards me.
Remain blessed
