Topic: FEARLESS
Joshua 1:9 KJV
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
I'd like to share some of the precious memories of my childhood. As a child, I grew up as the youngest of five children. I was 8 years old before my little sister was born. I enjoyed the pleasure of being the last child for 8 years.
What were these pleasures?
I was fearless, and I could make a lot of trouble with my siblings because, my Dad's got my back. He tells me to simply report anyone who touched me in his absence, and he warned that no one must touch me even if I do wrong, I should rather be reported. I can't fight any of my siblings, but if anyone tries to offend me when Dad is around I will jump on them and start beating them, they'll just be laughing. Mind you, I don't try that when Dad isn't around. The presence of my Dad gives me that confidence.
Now take time out to think about this, if the presence of the earthly father could make a little boy so bold to confront mighty men, how much more the presence of the heavenly Father. I want you to take God by His word, when He says it, He means it. "Numbers 23:19 KJV
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
The presence of God gives us the boldness to confront every difficulty in our lives without fears. When God is by my side no Devil can withstand me. This God is not just a God that can fight the Devil, but the God that created the Devil and controls him. "Colossians 2:10 KJV
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"
God is not glorified when His children live in fear, it's a way of underestimating God's potency.
We really need to make God's word real to us, if we do, we'll fear nothing. "Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
How can I be sure God is with me?
Doing His will, carrying is mandate, helps us to have the constant assurance of His presence. "Matthew 28:20 KJV
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
We can consciously invite Jesus into all our lives affairs, then we can be sure He's with us, we have no need to fear.

Prayer: Oh Lord I acknowledge your presence with me, and I silence every fear in Jesus' name.
Remain blessed
