Topic: Man over God
Romans 13:9 KJV
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou. shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
A popular speaker began a move against God, and the resources for the work of God. In all his pursuit he makes a claim on the importance of serving humanity.
Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment is:
Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment is:
Matthew 22:37-39 KJV
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

In Jesus' answer we see that priority was given to loving God over loving man. What I have seen in life, is that those who claim to love men than God have something in common, just like Judas, they are thieves. John 12:5-6 KJV
"Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? [6] This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein." - Judas
You cannot afford to love man above God and not be polluted. The love for God is pure, and it's only through it you can genuinely love man, without sentiment. It's in loving God you can do His will, and be able to say like Joseph; "how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?" (Gen 39:9)
Desire God over man today not the reverse.

Prayer: oh Lord give me a genuine love for you, from the depth of my heart.
Remain blessed.
