The power that keeps the earth moving since creation lies in the unity that exist in Trinity. They are always together both in mind and purpose, "not divided minds but one purpose".
Jesus prayed for us that we might be one, "John 17:21 KJV
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."
Agreement and unity is a phenomenon highly respected by God when it is done by right people. "Matthew 18:19 KJV
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
Throughout the scripture we realise that every form of unity brings down God's presence. God comes to confirm right unity and to confound the wrong unity(mutiny or rebellion). From the building of the tower of Babel (Genesis 11), rebellion of Mariam and Aaron (Numbers 13), of Kora, Dathan and Abiram (Numbers 16), on till the Pentecostal unity of the Apostle at the upper room (Acts 2). For the power of unity to be made fully manifested in the church Jesus prayed for it in the entire chapter of John 17 "
John 17:20-21 KJV
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; [21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." The scripture encourages that as a child of God walk in the company of other children, that God might be glorified. You can take God for his word, release your heart and keep nothing evil in mind concerning anyone. Let your heart be righteous and agree with the saints, true children of God, and everything you present before Him shall be settled.
"1 Timothy 2:8 KJV
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."
God is so interested in this unity, He said "Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
He builds and gathers the church and He takes delight in her. We can not be divided in minds and still have one purpose.
